C.L.O. makes a splash
on talk radio!

CLO was the featured story on one of the most popular local radio shows: "Conroy's Public House" on 1320 KLWN. The show aired at 9AM on Wednesday, August 3rd. The guests included Dr. Jim Sherman (chairperson and president ofthe board of directors), Stephanie Wilson (senior administrator) and Ivo Ivanov (director of marketing and a long-time
CLO teacher). In four long segments the program investigated in detail CLO's presence and role in the community in the last 27 years. Dr. Sherman reminisced about CLO's past, first steps and rapid growth. He also profiled the agency's new models: The Family Teaching Model and The Extended Family Teaching Model. The guests also answered questions about CLO's future, employment opportunities, financial challenges, continuous collaboration with the University of Kansas, the new recycling center, and the groundbreaking night-monitoring technology service.
