Community Living Opportunities would like to thank the wonderful and dedicated volunteers who donated their skills, effort and time during the annual Day of Caring in Overland Park on June 23rd, 2007. This was a record year in participation as more than 200 hard-working volunteers joined forces to help with variety of projects in 11 CLO homes. In just one day living areas, gardens, backyards and front lawns were cleaned, developed, meticulously groomed and literally transformed into beautiful, inviting spaces for relaxation and fun. In it's fourth year of participation in the metro-wide Day of Caring, Community Living Opportunities enjoyed a drastic increase in volunteers. The men, women and children served by the agency are thrilled to be the benificiaries of such wonderful work and most importantly of the opportunity to forge new and lasting friendships.
